New Teacher Commendation
MaFLA’s mission encompasses the mentoring, support and professional growth of new teachers in the profession. This commendation awards a MaFLA membership to the honored new teacher.
Distinguished Service Award
Awarded for exceptional and meritorious service to the foreign language proession in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the MaFLA Distinguished Service Award acknowledges individuals who have, through their dedication and commitment to the field of foreeign language education, made a significant contribution to the profession.
MaFLA Service Awards
These awards honor retiring foreign language teachers and those with 25 years of service in the foreign language teaching professions and are presented at the Annual Meeting each year.
