Our Partnership

MAFLA and Idioma Education & Consulting are proud to partner in support of world language educators and multilingual learners throughout Massachusetts and beyond.

Both organizations share a commitment to advancing high-quality language education and helping educators create meaningful learning experiences that lead students toward multilingualism and intercultural competence. MAFLA's mission of connecting and leading world language professionals in guiding all Massachusetts students to multilingualism aligns closely with Idioma's commitment to providing practical, affordable, and research-based professional learning opportunities for language educators.

Through this partnership, MAFLA and Idioma work together to expand access to professional development, graduate-level coursework, scholarships, and leadership opportunities that support educator growth and student success. Together, we are building a stronger community of language educators while promoting excellence in world language teaching and learning.

Through our partnership with Idioma Education & Consulting, MAFLA members can enjoy the following benefits

• 10% discount on Idioma courses using a dedicated MAFLA member discount code (excluding SEI courses and previous registrations)
• Access to the Idioma Star monthly newsletter featuring professional learning opportunities, resources, and updates.
• Eligibility for up to five $500 scholarships each year toward enrollment in Idioma's partner university Master of Education (M.Ed.) program with a World Language emphasis
• Eligibility for a $500 travel award to support attendance at the MAFLA Annual Conference
