MaFLA wants to showcase your achievements:
as an advocate for world language studies
as an instructional leader
Have you thought of yourself as a contributor to our teaching profession?
Nominate yourself or a colleague for the MaFLA Board. Please fill out and submit the online application form.
Persons elected to the Board of Directors of MaFLA serve as volunteers, without compensation for a period of four years, and must be willing to participate actively in the business of the Association. The Board usually meets six times per year and conducts much of its business through committees such as Communications, Professional Development, Membership and Marketing, Advocacy, and Needs and Policies.
MaFLA values the diversity of our students across the state. Therefore, we are committed to the recruitment of exemplary language educators representing a broad range of backgrounds, including people of color and other ethnic groups.
