Finally found the time to update H.O.T. I promise to update more often now that I am retired. Yup. Retired after 46 years in the classroom. Thanks for following my updates and sorry for the long period with no updates!

Sorry I have been so remiss with updating H.O.T. My life became very hectic this fall with BIG (HUGE) classes and lots of extra activities.

Have you thought of yourself as a contributor to our teaching profession?
Nominate yourself or a colleague for the MaFLA Board. Please fill out and submit the online application form.
Persons elected to the Board of Directors of MaFLA serve as volunteers, without compensation for a period of four years, and must be willing to participate actively in the business of the Association. The Board usually meets six times per year and conducts much of its business through committees such as Communications, Professional Development, Membership and Marketing, Advocacy, and Needs and Policies.
MaFLA values the diversity of our students across the state. Therefore, we are committed to the recruitment of exemplary language educators representing a broad range of backgrounds, including people of color and other ethnic groups.
