Job Information:
The Woodward School, an independent day school for girls in grades 6-12 in Quincy, MA seeks a full time World Languages Teacher to teach French and Spanish for the 2022 – 2023 school year.
Teacher responsibilities will include Middle and Upper School courses sections though advanced Upper School levels; candidates must be willing and competent to teach students at differing grade and language proficiency levels, and to serve as a class or club advisor.
Qualifications: The preferred candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in World Languages, and fluency in the French and Spanish Languages. A minimum of three years teaching experience with middle and/or high school is preferred. Ability to teach and French and/or Spanish Immersion class a plus.
A passion for the French and Spanish language, history and culture, and teaching; a commitment to all girls' education, excellence in academics, collaboration, collegiality, student wellbeing and to the School's DEI principles, are essential qualities.
