Job Information:
The Department of Romance Studies at Brandeis University seeks a full-time instructor for the Hispanic Studies program, to begin in August 2022. This is a one-year appointment for academic year 2022-2023 and involves teaching six, in-person (4-credit) courses:
Fall 2022: two sections of HISP 32 (third semester course) and one section of HISP 104 (fourth semester course); and
Spring 2023: two sections of HISP 32 and one section of HISP 104.
Qualifications: Candidates with at least a master’s degree in Spanish language, literature or culture, or with a specialty in second-language acquisition in Spanish, as well as experience teaching Spanish-language courses at the university level and a native or near-native level of spoken and written proficiency in Spanish will be given preference.
