Full Time Upper School Spanish Teacher, Second Semester (January 2022)
The ideal candidate will be able to teach all levels of Upper School Spanish. The position involves three classes of Level Three and possible participation in the co-curricular program as a coach or other activity supervisor. We are especially interested in a candidate who combines a focus on both grammar and oral proficiency, as well as cultural knowledge. Prior teaching experience is required, as are a facility with technology, a demonstration of current best practices of second language acquisition, and a commitment to professional development and personal growth as a teacher. Our department fosters strong collaboration with colleagues on the advancement of curriculum and pedagogy. We are particularly interested in candidates who will enrich the diversity of identity, experience, and perspective among our faculty body and school community.
