The German Saturday School invites applications for 2 teaching positions:
kindergarten
middle school
for 2026/27.
Classes take place on 30 Saturdays from September through May from 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Diamond Middle School in Lexington. Some afternoon attendance for faculty meetings is required. GSSB currently teaches more than 500 students from pre-K through 12th grade. Our advanced students have the opportunity to take internationally recognized standardized tests – from the basic IVA A2 through the advanced DSD exams (= Deutsches Sprachdiplom) for those students who perform at the highest language proficiency level.
Qualifications: Native or native-like fluency in German
Language teaching experience (required) and a teaching degree (preferred)
A flexible personality and a passion for teaching
