Job Information:
Boston Latin School is anticipating an opening for a full time Italian position for the 2023-2024 school year.
Teacher would teach 5 sections of Italian for students in grades 8-12.
Courses offered are Italian 1, 2, 3, 4 and AP Italian Language and Culture, and teacher would teach a combination of 2 or 3 levels depending on need. Experience with AP Italian Language and Culture or willingness to be trained to teach AP a bonus as this teacher would also teach a section of AP Italian Language and Culture.

Qualifications: Required qualifications:
Education: Hold a bachelor’s degree
Hold the appropriate valid Massachusetts Teaching License in Italian to teach grades 8-12
Meet all state and federal guidelines in order to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified according to NCLB.
Has the ability to meet the Standards of Effective Teaching established by the Boston Public Schools as outlined above.
Holds current authorization to work in the United States – Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment.
Preferred additional qualifications:
Has experience teaching in urban schools.
