Position Title: Middle School Spanish Teacher

Location: Buckingham Browne & Nichols School, Cambridge MA
BB&N is seeking a full-time Spanish teacher for the Middle School, grades 7 & 8. The candidate hired will teach four classes and work in our co-curricular/Advisory program, advise students and support student programs. Additional responsibilities could include coaching or assisting in new initiatives. The Spanish curriculum emphasizes the development of key reading and writing skills and oral proficiency, preparing students to be effective and confident communicators.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a degree in Spanish, Spanish Education or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is required and a Master's is preferred. Preference will be given to teachers with fluency in Spanish and 3-5 years teaching experience. Proficiency in a third language is also a plus.
