Potsdam Central School District is seeking a World Language Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
Location: AA Kingston Middle School
Preferred Requirements:
Dual certification in French and Spanish 7–12 preferred; however, certification in French or Spanish with coursework and/or experience in other language accepted.
Eventual New York State certification will be required.
Unique aspects of this position: 2 preparations, travel opportunities, and collaboration with a supportive team that carries a Schools to Watch designation
The World Language department uses an acquisition-focused approach.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, minimum
Major in French and Spanish, OR
Major in French with some coursework/proficiency in Spanish, OR
Major in Spanish with some coursework/proficiency in French
NY State teacher certification preferred; other state certifications accepted (with commitment to obtaining NY State certification)
Language/Languages: French and Spanish (2 preps, intro level)
