Apply today to present a 3-hour workshop on the topic of input or output in the language classroom.
Who can apply:
- Any MAFLA member in good standing
- Can be an individual or a team of two.
Thursday workshop setup:
- There will be two featured workshops on Thursday, October 23
- Participants will attend both workshops (one in the morning and one in the afternoon)
- The topics are:
- Input with Greta Lundgaard
- Output with Paul Sandrock
Details of the application:
- Applications are due no later than April 18, 2025 at midnight
- As the co-presenter, you will work alongside Greta or Paul to create and deliver the presentation on Thursday, October 23
As a workshop member you will:
- Be matched with either Greta Lundgaard or Paul Sandrock. two experienced and nationally-recognized presenters
- Collaborate to create a 3-hour workshop to be delivered twice on Thursday October 23
- Meet regularly with your mentor prior to the workshop to finalize materials, script, and timing.
As compensation for your presentation you will receive:
- Mentorship for skills you can use going forward
- Meals on Wednesday night, Thursday breakfast, Thursday lunch, Thursday dinner, and Friday lunch
- Attendance at the full annual Conference
