Requirements for Pre-Conference Workshop Mentorship
- All conference attendees are required to be MAFLA members and to register for the Conference. (registration is gratis upon acceptance)
- Presenters will be willing to present between 9AM and 3PM on Thrusday, October 23, 2025.
- Audio-Visual Needs: There will be a screen, an LCD projector, and Internet access in every room. Presenters should bring their own laptops and connecting cables. If room size dictates the need for a microphone and sound system, one will be provided.
- Bio: You will be asked to provide a short description of your professional background in 50 words or less.
- Please indicate whether you would like to present on input with Greta Lundgaard or output with Paul Sandrock
- Write a short description explaining why you would be a good co-presenter on the topic or input or output (90 words).
- Write a short paragraph explaining your background with presenting and giving professional development as well as what you hope to gain from this mentoring experience
- Presentations should engage the audience through hands-on or interactive activities when possible.
- Please review the linked RUBRIC to know how the committee will evaluate your session.
- Each presenter is responsible for uploading any handouts for session attendees to access either prior to the conference or immediately following. MAFLA will advise presenters in advance of the room capacity.
