Job Information:
St. Sebastian’s School is a Catholic, independent day school for boys in grades 7-12 located in Needham, Massachusetts. We seek an enthusiastic Spanish teacher for a full-time position starting in the fall of 2023. Our ideal candidate is an advanced speaker with an academic background in the language and a passion for working with language learners from the novice to advanced levels. We require that all candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and have a preference for candidates with a Master’s focused on Spanish language and literature. Some background knowledge of the ACTFL standards and proficiency-based teaching is a plus. Above all, the candidate must want to work in a collaborative environment, help our department to further develop our curriculum, and bring passion to the classroom every day. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to contribute to the extracurricular life of the school by coaching, moderating clubs and activities, or contributing to the arts department.

Qualifications: An MA or comparable degree in teaching Spanish
